holly jolly holiday

When I woke up yesterday morning, I found that Santa surprised me with some pretty sweet wellies and a little blue box. And boy does Santa know me and my anchor-love, (Remember: Tough girls wear anchors!).

I'm beyond excited; it actually makes me feel like crawling out of my pajamas and putting on real people clothes so I don't feel like a total bum. But as a side note, in case you were wondering, spending 48 hours in sweat clothes IS a refreshing way to spend your holiday weekend. It's not so good for outfit posts, but it's pretty nice for relaxing and soaking in family time (because after all, they're supposed to love you no matter what you look - or smell - like, right??). Either way, I'd highly recommend it. ;)

Another bonus to this holiday season? Being able to see the goodies that the sweet Allie sent me, earlier this month, hanging on my tree all season. We had both participated in a holiday ornament swap and she was so thoughtful to send me a beautiful nativity scene ornament, an ornament to declare my love of coffee, and the cutest snow man mug that I ever did see! I am just head over heels for this lovely lady's blog, Tales of a Twenty Something and super thankful for her sweet gifts, this holiday.

I sent goodies to Amanda, this month, so be sure to stop by her blog Southern Glamourista to spread a little holiday spirit!

I hope you all had a fabulous holiday and enjoy the rest of what this year has to offer!

  1. Love the wellies and you certainly can't go wrong with the little blue box! What a great Christmas!!

  2. Uhhh, you lucky lady! I would kill for a blue box even if it only had an ILY note inside ;)

  3. Your Wellies look lovely and will stop your Tights from getting splashed in the rain, I hope to see you wearing them soon, I may even pull my Wellies on and join you.

  4. Love the boots! What a great gift. I've been pretty lazy lately. It's so nice to lounge around in pjs!
