Have you ever had one of those weeks where you're so busy, that you feel like you don't have the time to do anything?! Like no matter how hard you try to catch up, you're always a step behind? And every time you cross something off, you're forced to add about twenty more to the list of things "To Do"?!
Welp. I've had TWO of those weeks! In a row! And, frankly, I'm on the brink of going crazy!!
Between the new semester starting up, and dealing with a not-so-fancy 'promotion' at work (I'm still trying to accept how being promoted involves less sleep, more stress, and...no pay raise) , I haven't had the time to do much outside of planning third grade science lessons and shopping for school supplies at the local office supply store.
PS: This glue.... 5 CENTS!!! Talk about a bargain!! ;)
Quite simply, my day starts with college class (and professors that rarely arrive on time), takes a detour through elementary level science or math, and ends with a bit of retail therapy. Expensive therapy, which entails walking down every "office supply" aisle four times, tossing colorful items in the cart, attempting to justify their price tag, and more often than not concludes with me spending money that I don't really have, on more markers and stickers...that don't really need. Oh, what my life has become!!
And the hardest part is keeping all of the madness straight! I think it's safe to say, that without this little baby, my days would be numbered (and, not to mention, completely out of order!). I think that I'm going to have to remember to start noting in some blogging time. Because...I miss you guys! You help me keep my sanity.
I'm looking forward to this weekend (that has a possible shopping trip in the works! Suhh-weeet!!), and hopefully I'll come back with a *little* haul! :)
How has your week been?
Stand still and consider the wondrous works of God. -Job 37:14
